Engagio's Salesforce integration and L2A engine matches your Salesforce Leads to the correct Salesforce Account and provides the option to convert Leads to Contacts within the Account, or retain the Lead and append Matched Account data to it. In addition, Engagio custom fields can enrich your Salesforce Accounts, Contacts, and Leads with important Engagio data. 

You can convert your Lead records to contact records associated with the Matched Account. This can be done manually or automatically within Engagio. 

 This will match all past and future leads to their respective accounts when possible. 

👍  We do not make new accounts for leads if there isn't one already, but you can.

Step 0

Choose between converting leads to contacts (this) or just adding account data to leads and leaving them as leads.

Step 1

If you choose this option, you will need to map a few lead fields to contact fields in order to not lose the data associated with the lead.

  1. Click "Set Up" at the top of SFDC (you will need admin access)
  2. In the search bar, type "lead" and find the "field" section within the Lead Menu.

      3. Click "Map Lead Fields"

      4. Use the drop down menus to match relevant fields, here are some examples.  The full chart of Engagio lead fields available to match can be found in this table.

Step 2

Choose between automatic conversion or manual conversion, instructions for both are below.                                      
For both options, leads will be converted in near real-time within Salesforce, they will not appear as Contacts within Engagio until the next nightly sync.

 Manual Lead-to-Contact Conversion

1. Login to Engagio: app.engagio.com

2. Navigate to the Settings area of Engagio by clicking the gear icon towards the bottom on the left navigation strip.

Note: You must be an admin user of Engagio to access the Settings are.

3. In the left navigation area, click on "Lead Matching Report" under the Lead Matching section. (You can also navigate directly to https://app.engagio.com/o/ad/ul in your web browser.)

4. In the table, select the Leads that you wish to convert to Contacts by clicking the checkbox to the left. The, click on the down arrow next to the "Unmatch" button and choose the "Convert to Contact" action.

5. Click the "OK" button in the confirmation dialog.

 Automatic Lead-to-Contact Conversion

1. Login to Engagio: app.engagio.com

2. In the left navigation strip, choose "Manage Account Lists" (bulleted list icon).

3. In the table of account lists, click on the name of the account list containing the accounts for which you want to auto-convert leads to contacts.

4. Set the "Auto-Convert Leads to Contacts in Salesforce" toggle to active.

5. Because Lead-to-Contact conversion is irreversible, you will be asked to complete a confirmation dialog to ensure that enabling this setting is intentional.
