After you have set up your Selector, defined your Actions, it is time to schedule your automation. The Schedule tab has 3 main sections: Run Time, Set to Effect, and Qualification Rules

In this article we will talk about the Make Recurring selection.

You have 3 options when scheduling your Automation. When you select Make Recurring, you will need to select the type for how often you want the automation to recur. This is where you can choose if the automation should recur daily, weekly, or monthly.

Next, you choose the First Run. The first run will be the very first time your automation runs and it does not need to be on the same day as your recurring schedule.

Next, you choose how often you want this to recur by setting a number for the Repeats Every.

Next, you have the option to have your automation run at the scheduled day and time indefinitely, or you can set it to End on a specific date.

Note: if the End date is not tied to the recurrence. If your End date is not on the same day as your recurring Schedule, your automation's last run date will be the last day of the recurrence before the specified End date.

Lastly can click Cancel if you no longer want to schedule a recurrence, or click Save to confirm your recurring settings.

Notice that there is now an Upcoming Run in the Up Coming Runs section of the Schedule tab.

The last step is you must Activate your automaton. This is an important step. Even though you have set a Scheduled Recurrence, the automation will not run at the scheduled day and time until it is Activated.
