[Google] How the Engagio <> Google G Suite (Gmail) Sync Works
Engagio users are asked to authenticate with G Suite to give Engagio access to emails and calendar events so Engagio can combine this data along with other relevant data from Salesforce and Marketing Automation systems to present a full account activity log to the Marketing and Sales teams.
This can be very helpful to give visibility to account activity across various Account stakeholders
The setup is simple. Each user will login with their Google account and accept the necessary permissions to Engagio.
Note: If there are users that do not want Engagio to read their email and calendar, then those users can setup a username/password login that does not authenticate to Engagaio via Google.

Below is a detailed flowchart of how Engagio syncs with Google emails and calendar events.
1. Engagement Minutes
Once Engagio stores the emails and calendar events, Engagio will first translate these activities into a score called "Engagement Minutes. (i.e. how much time did my prospect spend with our company for this activity, ex. replying to my email equals 2 minutes of engagement).

2. Communication History
In the Engagio web application or with Engagio's Google Chrome extension a user is able to access an Account's "Communication History." Communication History is a log of all emails and meetings between your company and the given account.
This can be very helpful to align relevant Account stakeholders such as, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, etc. in better understanding what interactions have occurred with your target accounts.
