When you create an Account List from an existing SFDC Report, it will be a smart, dynamic list that is updated as you change things in Salesforce. You can also create an account list based on an SFDC Account List View or create a "static" list of select accounts.

Will your report work? ūü§Ē

In order to link your new Engagio list to an SFDC Report, the following criteria must be in place:

  1.  It must be an Accounts report (not a Lead, Contact, or Campaign Member report, etc.)
  2. The report format must be “Tabular” or “Summary", not "Matrix" or "Joined"
  3. The report must be visible to the Salesforce user account that Engagio uses for API access to Salesforce. (Check Salesforce permissions.)
  4. Cross Object Filters used in the Report are not supported, but we support Cross Object Report Types (i.e. Type = Contacts and Accounts)

Step 1

Click the "Orchestrator" page within the application.

Click "Create New."

The Create New List dialog will pop up

List name - Name of the new List

List Member type - select Accounts

List Type - Select "SFDC Report" and click "Select Report" 

Visibility- Who can view the List
  • Public - Visible to everyone in your organization

  • Private - Visible only to the creator of the List and any Engagio users with an Admin role.

Step 4

Click "Create List."

Step 5

Engagio will make a query immediately to SFDC to get a list of all accounts.

The message "Successfully Updated List" will be displayed after accounts have been pulled in, this can take some time. If you get an error message, reach out to support.

Once you click "Select", we immediately make a query to Salesforce to pull in all accounts on that view. This can take several minutes if you have thousands of accounts part of that account view.
